The Hospitals of Regina Foundation has an exciting opportunity for a Special Events Officer. This position reports to the Vice President, Development and is responsible for special event fundraising at Hospitals of Regina Foundation. This includes the growth and support of third party community fundraising events organized in support of HRF and for HRF branded events. The Foundation currently produces one major event per year.  

This external facing position is responsible for a key source of revenue for the Foundation. Frequent evening and weekend work is required. The successful candidate is an experienced special event fundraiser with knowledge of Federal and Provincial regulations for fundraising events, charitable receipting and gaming licensing. In addition, the successful candidate is a self-starter with a strong attention to accuracy and detail, excellent customer service/donor relations skills, a demonstrated ability to solve problems and good written and verbal communication skills. 

The candidate will have a minimum of a university degree or diploma, and/or equivalent related work experience. A minimum of four years in a fundraising environment, with at least 2 years in fundraising event management.
